Cathy Jo Patterson has worked at Newton Care Center since March, 2016 as a R.N. Cathy’s positive attitude and eagerness to step in to assist in filling the schedule whether it be as a nurse or giving direct care as needed to assist the C.N.A.’s is something we can always count on. She is ALWAYS so upbeat and energetic. Even when it is a super rough day with resident needs, she is a pleasure to work around. Always patient with residents, family and co-workers, has a great attitude and a fun sense of humor.
Kelli Shipley is a restorative aide at Keosauqua Health Care Center. Kelli has been with us for over a year, and is a true team player who portrays the company mission. One resident suggested nominating Kelli because, “She takes such good care of me, she is so nice, she takes me on walks, and she is so patient”. Tiffany, our dietary manager stated, “Kelli is just a one in a million type of employee, she is constantly advocating for her residents, she knows their likes and dislikes, and she does not leave the dining room until the last resident is finished”.

Congratulations to Linda Brown from Newton Health Care Center (IA). Linda hasn’t been with us long, however we already know she is a great asset to our facility. She is a great nurse and friend for the residents and staff. Linda always comes in with a positive attitude and a smile. She goes out of her way to help others regularly and doesn’t leave until her tasks are complete. Many residents have complimented Linda for her positive attitude, jokes, and laughter.
Congratulations to Rachel Johnson, the IMG October Customer Service Superstar!
We, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center, pride ourselves on our resident programming specifically in our dementia units. We have made this such a focus over the last year that we are regarded in the community as the dementia experts for our area. We train all of our staff on the causes of dementia, the progression of Alzheimer's, behavior management, and family/caregiver health. Part of that training is centered on programming. When we say programming we are not just talking about activities and following a calendar. We are talking about the interpersonal day to day engagement of our residents with all staff.
