July Customer Service Superstar | Alicia Catterson

Congratulations to Alicia Catterson, Activity Aide at Paris Healthcare!  You are the IMG July Customer Service Superstar!

On the morning of July 4th, Alicia Catterson clocked in for her shift as activity aide at Paris Healthcare Center.  She walked through the halls giving a good morning and a big smile to all that she met on her way to the activities room ... especially the Residents, whom she has grown to love in her short time at PHC.

Alicia started in housekeeping and did a great job carefully cleaning each resident's room just like it was her own home. She took great care in every detail and was pleased when she was finished.  She always did her best work and was thoughtful in ensuring reach Resident felt good about their stay at PHC.

It didn't take Alicia long to know that her true passion was working directly with the Residents and applied for the activity aide position. She was hired and has made a huge difference each and every day she spends time with the Residents.

Alicia was especially excited coming into work on July 4th, as it was one of her favorite holidays, and she couldn't wait to see what exciting things were planned for the residents to enjoy the holiday.  After looking at the activity calendar and seeing only a movie was planned for the big day, Alicia took matters into her own hands and planned one heck of a patriotic party. On her lunch break she made a quick trip to the store to buy anything and everything patriotic. Because of her love for her job as an activity aide and her love for the residents, Alicia turned the Fourth of July at PHC as one of the most exciting days of the year for our residents. The activity room exploded with red, white and blue .... decorations, snacks, music, games. The residents (and all the staff that stopped by to see what all the excitement was about) were all smiles and lots of laughter was heard throughout the hall.

This is just one example of Alicia going above and beyond. She is constantly looking for new and exciting activities for the residents to enjoy. She was nominated by several staff members, including two nurses. They wrote, "Alicia is constantly trying to give the residents the best time she can. It's clear that she enjoys her job and working with the residents. Every time I see her she is doing something to make someone's day easier or better. I have enjoyed her transition to activities.   Another nurse wrote, " Alicia put together an nice impromptu July 4th party. The residents had an awesome time. The activity room was packed, which was nice to see everyone having a great time.

Thank you Alicia for turning July 4th into a true holiday celebration for the Residents at PHC!
